Public Comments on Cross-Border Privacy Rules in the Asia Pacific Cooperation Group

On May 22, the Office of Technology and Electronic Commerce (OTEC) invited stakeholders to submit comments on the development and implementation of “cross-border privacy rules” in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum through the Federal Register. OTEC held a public meeting at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, DC on June 13, 2006. For more information, please read the May 22, 2006 Federal Register Notice and view the agenda here.
