SHOW DESCRIPTION: LAAD 2013 International Defense and Security Show, now in its 9th year, will be the platform for international defense companies to showcase a full range of military products and services to meet the increasing demand of the local defense industry. This show is one of the largest in the world, presenting the latest in technology in the aerospace and defense market.
VISITORS/EXHIBITORS: Personnel such as police chiefs, ambassadors, superintendents, and commanding officers and generals from Brazil and Latin America will attend. The capacity to gather high level guests is one of the great strengths of LAAD. The 2011 show included 63 official delegations from 61 countries, 300 official delegates, and 14 Ministers of Defence. In addition, the 2011 show hosted 25,800 visitors from 54 countries and 663 exhibitors from 40 countries.
AMENITIES: The Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce will feature a catalog/sample booth at LAAD 2013. Included in the package of services are the collections of leads that will be sent to each company in a spreadsheet after the show, promotion of samples and the opportunity for pre- concurrent and post-show publicity for your company.
