Time Is Running Out On An Opportunity To Market Your Environmental Technology and Services in India !!!

A Gateway to Penetrate the Environmental Technology Market in India
The National Association of State Development Agencies (NASDA), a partner of US-Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP), would like to invite you to participate in a special international supplement of the Economic Times in India. The Economic Times (ET), the most prominent English-language business newspaper in India, is planning a special International Supplement on Clean Technology and Environmental Management for Industries, coinciding with World Environment Day on June 5. ET is the largest read English business newspaper in India, and one of the top three worldwide, with an average daily circulation of 487,783 in the seven largest cities in India. The publication reaches about 75% of the decision-makers in corporate India. ET has approached the US-Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP) in India for assistance in making this supplement an
international one, by linking it effectively with the U.S. experts (for editorial papers) and companies (for technology information and advertisements). The topics to be covered include: the clean development mechanism, environmental and energy audits, pollution prevention, wastewater treatment and recycling, hazardous waste management, alternative fuels for vehicles, renewable energy, medical waste management, and environmental services.

To help US environmental firms to gain more visibility in and access to the India marketplace, US-AEP/NASDA would like to assist companies who are articipating in the supplement with the cost of advertising by covering half of the advertising cost. The advertising rates are $88 per column centimeter (cc) for color and $67 per cc for black and white. A full page consists of about 400 cc. US-AEP would cover half of this cost for participating firms. For example, a popular size for small companies is 15 cm x 19.3 cm for a cost of $5,280 (color) and $4,020 (black and white). US companies participating in the US-AEP cost share program would only pay $2,640 (color) and $2,010 (black and white). In addition, any company participating in the supplement will receive a special editorial of 100-150 words in the Economic Times to promote their company and products in details for free.
The due date for participating in the supplement is May 21, 2001; it is only one week away. Should your company be interested in this event, please contact Julie Pike, NASDA at 202-326-6253 or jpike@nasda.com, or Pofen Salem, NASDA
at 202-326-6255 or psalem@nasda.com.
