The Office of Textiles and Apparel, OTEXA, maintains a multifaceted export program that responds to the interests and concerns of the industry; encourages, supports, and facilitates export sales of U.S.-made textiles and apparel in key overseas markets; and provides information on how to take advantage of the preferential benefits of Free Trade Agreements. Our program includes export counseling, seminars on a variety of export-related topics, facilitation of participation in trade missions and major international trade events, and market research designed to identify key export opportunities. Within OTEXA, we have textile and apparel specialists who can provide answers to your market and export-related questions, respond to questions regarding Free-Trade Agreements, and provide information regarding opportunities and potential obstacles in exporting to various markets. OTEXA works closely with show organizers to obtain the best prices for special or turnkey booths; has specialists to manage sample booths; and facilitates access to over 100 U.S. and over 150 overseas offices ready to assist you in your export sales and market expansion.
