Free Trade Agreements

The U.S. Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) allow U.S. textile and apparel manufacturers to enter and compete more easily in the global marketplace. These agreements eliminate or reduce tariff rates, improve intellectual property regulations, open government procurement opportunities, ease investment rules, and much more. In general, the agreements help level the international playing field and encourage foreign governments to adopt open and transparent rulemaking procedures, as well as non-discriminatory laws and regulations.
